SyncSigns provides a video accessibility platform that enables users to create, manage, and deliver ASL-interpreted video content. Our services include:
- Video hosting and streaming
- SyncSigns Player for accessible playback
- BackStage Studio for interpretation recording
- Team collaboration and management tools
- Analytics and reporting
3. Accounts
Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Account Types
Different account types (Owner, Admin, Member, Contractor) have different permissions and capabilities as described in our documentation.
4. User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of content you upload to SyncSigns. By uploading content, you grant us a license to host, store, and display that content as necessary to provide our services.
Content Restrictions
You may not upload content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Is defamatory, obscene, or abusive
- Violates privacy rights
Content Removal
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is subject to valid legal complaints.

Taxes
Prices do not include applicable taxes. You're responsible for any taxes associated with your use of our services.
7. Intellectual Property
SyncSigns and its licensors own all rights in our services, including software, designs, and documentation. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Third-Party Services
Our services may integrate with third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
9. Termination
By You
You may cancel your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use our services ends. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.
10. Disclaimers
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNCSIGNS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SyncSigns from claims arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, under AAA rules. You waive the right to participate in class actions.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SyncSigns.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by California law.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
